Soiled garments are suspended from the walls using rope and clothespins. Mismatched pots, pans, and mugs are strewn all over the floor, collecting drips of water from the wet clothes.
"Trauma are like stains on clothes. Although ignoring or washing them away is an option, it is simply a temporary solution. And, trauma isn't linear; if you don't address or process it, it can weigh you down and become heavy, similar to wet clothes. Trauma may sometimes seem to be healing at different speeds. It might be subtle or overt, one-dimensional or multi-layered and small or large. "
